Replacement anodes kit for Aquatica D2x housing (two complete sets)

The Aquatica housings for the Nikon D2x include sacrificial zinc anodes. These anodes protect your aluminum housing from stray electrical currents found on boats, docks and wherever there are electrical cables. Loose electrical currents will attack the softer zinc anodes instead of your aluminum housing protecting it from electrolysis. Over time these anodes will wear out (as they should). They are easily replaced in the field by simply screwing new ones into the housings base.

Moisture Alarm for digital housings

An installed audio and visual moisture alarm is your best safeguard in the early detection of moisture inside your housing. Non-catastrophic leaks usually develop slowly over time. An audio alarm and a visual blinking red light will go off, alerting you when water is present inside your housing. This warning will give you the opportunity to exit the water and check for small leaks. All moisture alarms can be factory installed or ordered separately and installed by end user.
